A number of years ago after a few days of January track driving at Thunderhill Raceway in heavy rains I wandered over to the coast to work my way home along the coast looking for scenic places to shoot. The weather wasn't particularly cooperative to begin with but once the storms started to break up the combination of the skies and the heavy surf made for some delightful opportunities. This was one of the more interesting scenes and in spite of stopping here every time I have been out on Hwy 1 passing through I have never quite seen the same atmospherics that made this image work. Needless to say the Pacific continues to alter what's left of the scene every winter.
C&C always welcome.
