Antares Region

Here is another one of my DSO taken from Bortle 5 sky in suburban backyard.

Modified Canon 77D + Sigma 135mm Art lens tracked with Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer and guided with ZWO ASIAir + ASI120MM Mini + 30F4 with a total integration time of 1.5-2 hours if I remember correctly.

It’s 3am here and I am sitting here in the cold wishing I had hot chocolate while I capture the Antares region! So it was a pleasant surprise to log in here to the forum and see this image from you. My camera isn’t modded, so I probably won’t get these same colors, but it’s fun capturing it while I wait for the Lagoon Nebula to get a little night in the sky and off the horizon.

I really enjoy the look of this, all of those colors are just fantastic. I stumbled across this yesterday night while looking for things in the sky to shoot and was surprised by it having Yellow, Red and Blue all together in one area.

Excellent! That region sure makes for a colorful image. I have yet to shoot it, but with your and Jim's images, it is making me want to get to a more open dark sky site and try my hand at it.

Very great result on one of my very favorites areas to image! Colors are great, and the framing is perfect. Lots of good signal, including the faint Ha region to the right in youir image. Excellent!
