At the Pinnacle

Out at Skyline Overlook in Utah, Ben is out on this pinnacle and it looks almost like he is a commander as he overlooks his troops.

My processing time is quite limited with 6 Grandkids running around, but I am trying to squeeze in some quick processing when possible. But I often find myself with a 6 month old bouncing on one knee while playing with a 2 year old on the other. Or I am spending time helping to create blanket forts where we can all crawl in and watch Dr Squish on You-tube or we are playing various memory games on an ipad.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

Nice edit considering the distractions - I like the color contrasts between the ground layers below and the skies.

What a great view. I really like how the clouds draw your eye to the center of the image. How the heck did Ben get way out there?

I have been out in that spot too, but I really prefer a little wider of a standing spot myself. :)

Yeah, it was cool the way the clouds looked in that.

What a view. The skies were pretty nice as well. How apt to have Ben positioned the way he is. Its his find after all.

Sweet shot and action portrait of Ben. I've been reading some articles on how climate change is affecting mountain landscapes dramatically, esp. in the Alps where some recent huge rockfalls have erased classic routes. Makes me suspect of a lot of formations I might have just grabbed or clambered over in the past - those were my first thought looking at him on what looks like a hoodoo mushroom at the end of that ridge 😮
