Back from the Ridges Sanctuary

I just got back from the Ridges Sanctuary last weekend. I spent 10 days looking for specific images for the second edition of my book on the area. The weather cooperated with high overcast many of the days. That gives nice soft light to the images which is essential for the fine detail you want to portray. The white gives this flower a special elegance.

Here is one of my favorites: an albino Pink Moccasin Lady's-slipper which is a rare treat.
