Bad weather announced for the Juan de Fuca Strait

Love this B&W photo Rick. Such cool stormy clouds. So this is the Juan de Fuca Straight. Wow... A place I remember reading so much about as a child and always had dreamed of visiting.

Thanks. We are currently exploring the Vancouver island south coast between Sooke and Port Renfrew. This picture was taken there, at the Bonatnic Bay, in Port Renfrew. Many beaches and sea port.

Is this from Vancouver Island looking south towards the Olympic Peninsula? I like the stormy skies lurking over the distant mountains. Probably not a good day to take the ferry between Victoria and Port Angeles with the swells.

My visits to Vancouver Island have usually been focused on the Victoria area and I haven't explored the coast all that much.

The ferry is close between the 2 country by the way. Yes, I was on the Canadian side pointing south.
