I was starting to miss your photography, I see you have been busy as a bee. :)

This is so neat to see from the various angles. Awesome job on capturing this. All are great, but I agree #3 really stands out.

Interesting - a bit different from the bees I am used to seeing in our garden. Nicely detailed macro shots.
I really like 3#, that in your face pose is perfect.

Thanks for the kind comments Alan, Ben, Jim.

It has been a quiet three months for me photographically since the New Year. I think I got a bit burnt out with all the experimenting I had been doing since the summer, trying to figure out what might work best. Also, while there have been some flowers to photograph in the past three months, as far as invertebrates go there have been almost none, not that I could find anyway. There are still only a few.

Things are now starting to pick up a bit photographically and I started a blog a few days ago to help organise my thoughts. That is turning out to be quite time-consuming. There is little to show as yet but there is a lot going on behind the scenes. The blog is just me talking to myself really, and it may well turn out to be short lived, but I find writing things down and trying to explain things helps clarify my mind, and can also sometimes tease out errors and identify key factors that I need to concentrate on. It's working for me today. And tomorrow? Next week? Who knows.
