Great shot - you do a really nice job on capturing faces with a lot of personality. Your portraits leave me wanting to meet your subjects.

First and foremost let me thank you all for the nice comments.

I am not kidding when stating this was a snapshot, before leaving home I felt the need to have the DSLR with me, the sky was covered by a thick layer of moist and as such the sun light wasn't harsh, I met Alberto (aka 'bertuccio) with a friend of him who also is a very interesting character but whilst Bertuccio is kind of a vain person who likes to like even tho he passed the 90 years mark the other guy, Salvatore, totally refuses being captured on a photograph, he thought I wanted to take a pic of him and immediately stood to get apart of Bertuccio, the background was too close and busy to make of it a nice portrait but since to hit the shutter is free and the shadows weren't too harsh the result is kind of pleasant but nothing which matters with any ability belonging to me.

Photography is a great hobby which, for me, works also as a vehicle to get over some personal issues like lack of confidence (nobody would ever trust it if I was to say that personally to somebody), unfortunately I am not brave enough to stand in front of you and ask "sir, do you mind if I take a picture of you?" and you have no clue how many people there are here I'd like to capture and I just don't because I have no guts to ask and this is a reflection of what happens to me in life not just into the hobby so the added value is the pursue of getting over obstacles be them hobby related or personal and this, to me, adds a lot more than just the pure image.
