My favorites
#1 Flash Frozen: I find a little island with multiple seasons represented delightful.

#2 Deep Freeze at Hot Creek: First major snowshoeing of the season brings me joy. The subtle colors worked better for me than an explosively colorful sunrise.

#3 Hard Life: Sometimes the clouds cooperate with the sunset, and its exciting every time.

#4 Showing Its Stripes: Getting to explore the geology of my new home has been a huge benefit (though the community college doesn't offer much in the way of geology courses).

#5 Pristine Pastels: A hike out to dunes where few people go is always worth it.

#6 Opposite the Sun: A rainbow over a stormy Sierra. Enough said?

#7 Tri Toned Aspen: My eye for fall color isn't quite tuned, but I think I'm getting better. This is the first season I've been able to focus on fall color.

#8 Juniper and the Hunter: I've had my eye on this tree for 5 years. It finally came together.

#9 Lunar Falls: My home waterfall on a failed mission to get a moonbow. There's always next year.

#10 Sidewinder: Mix of fall color and snow doesn't seem to happen that often, but I love this wash of aspen near home.

What a fantastic set you have here, makes it hard to choose favorites, but here goes anyway. 1, 2 3, and 9.

Great collection for the year - you have made good use of your current residence. Hard to pick our favorites but #4, #5, and #6 are standouts for my eyes.

A really great selection!

I totally get your #1 pick as that is so unusual I think.

My favorites are #5, 6, 8 and 9.
