Bisected

The high Sierra on one side lit by sunrise, a full moon setting on the other, all bisected by a rock formation in the Alabama Hills. A wonderful scene to wake to.

Definitely a beautiful scene and neat sight to wake up to. But. I find my eyes wandering around the scene looking for a focal point in the comp and I seem to be missing it.

I am pulled to the sun on the peaks on the left and the moon on the right but the foreground formation seems too dark to hold my attention in between. The light in the Alabama Hills in the foreground is very flat and could use some localized contrast to add some depth.
