Cool one, Craig! I would be slightly concerned as those mama bears are INSANELY protective!! It's wild seeing them defend their cubs against other hungry males. Talk about something you do not want to mess with.

How many pixels do you have to work with? I think that a tighter crop could improve the shot, as well as perhaps a little shadow recovery?

I need me some bear shots of my own!!
