Really cool shots with the kids poking out. The eye color and the tuft of feathers surrounding them is stunning. The first one is my favorite although the last one is close behind.

Another early morning trip to RSPB St. Aidan's. This time the Black-necked Grebe, Podiceps nigricollis had young which is always a pleasure to see.

Wow Kevin, I have runout of superlatives to describe your images. This sequence is remarkable and ends with the chick reaching for food from the other parent, wonderful. TFS. 🤞 :cool:
