Black Skimmers

I found a spot on Long Island where there were plenty of Black Skimmers. What a fun bird to shoot. Although I found out that August is their baby month, They let me know the first twent steps onto the beach. All C&C welcomed

Fun set Joe - something to like in all of these but especially #3. #4 with lunch delivery is pretty cool too.

Excellent set Joe, I have tried to do skimmers before but never got close enough.

Nice set, Joe. They sure have a bright orange on their beaks. Particularly nice capture with the caught fish. You might consider cropping the top of that so the skimmer is more in the middle. #3 has a nice grouping of them against the surf.

What a very fun set of photos Joe! I like them all, and those birds do look super fun. I was in a marshy area up in Alaska one time just shooting the marsh, and all of a sudden I had these marsh birds starting to dive at me. It might have been the same situation.

Again, all of these are great but I will pick #2 and 4 as standing out.
