Blueberry Barrens in Nova Scotia

This is a blueberry field near Peggy's Cove from a trip I took in the fall of 2016 to Nova Scotia. These fields can be spectacular in the fall when the leaves turn bright red. The boulders are glacial erratics dumped by glaciers when they melted.

We have a tons of blueberries in our yard but they don't turn red like this.
