Bolsa Chica Birds

This is from Thursday afternoon at Bolsa Chica Wetlands in Huntington Beach. I was using the Tamron 150-600mm G2 on my Nikon D850.

I am downloading an app to help ID birds, but for now I wanted to post these 2 views of the same bird.

Looks like a Greater Yellowlegs Sandpiper but there are quite a few different species

You were probably fine. But they almost initiated a fee/permit requirement just to access the property last year.

Interesting John. I have only ever occasionally gone there, but I thought a few years back they did have like a $5 fee I thought. That's not a big deal to me as I don't mind supporting wilderness places like that.
