Bryce Canyon National Park

I should have titled the post, "Yes, another lone tree" because it seems I have developed a pattern (or fixation) for shooting them. In the future, I promise to "branch" out.

I like your perspective on this park. A refreshing departure from the usual amphitheater views but are still a familiar sight to those of us who frequent the place.

I have visited that park a lot over the years and on my last visit the crowds pushed me away from even bothering to go out on the usual viewpoints. Keep branching out - it's a big park away from the overlooks :)

Hey, its great to see a shot from Bryce that is not the typical postcard frame! Good job with the outside of the rocks thinking

This is super cool John! I enjoy iconic views of iconic places, but I also think it’s important at some stage of our growth as photographers that we do look for other compositions too. This is a great lesson to us all.

it's nice to see something that isn't a hoodoo at this park. though it's a little funny that the tree sorta looks like a hoodoo.
