Interesting shapes and textures. Looks like a bubble within a bubble. Nice imaging.
Love it! Very inspiring Les. I sure like this in the Hubble Palette. I like how the Bubble is surrounded by all of that galactic dust.
When I upgraded to a real astro mount at Christmas and then got a real astro camera a few months ago, one of the reasons for doing so was so that I could capture some of these Planetary Nebula. I tested it 2 months ago as I was still trying to figure out all of the new gear and shot the Cats Eye Nebula. I only spent 2 hours on it as I wasn't sure just how well I was doing, and I mainly wanted it as a test to see if I could even capture it. And I did. So even though it really looks pretty lousy, I am so excited about the prospect of spending more time on it, and being able to come away with something much nicer then I could have imaged just a year ago while using my DSLR to capture my Astro.
So thanks Les! Keep on reprocessing some of your old data, it's truly inspiring.

This is such an amazing object - and your reprocess in narrowband has really made for a great rendition. Lovely subtle color inter-mixings and details both of the Bubble and of the surrounding shells of gas and dust. Very nicely done.
