We have quite a few moose in the local mountains. I saw this a few miles south west of Park City.

Yes, it's not so young. There was another one with him, but obscured by trees.

Now that is really cool that you have moose in that area! I have only seen moose a few times, and it's usually up in the Tetons.

I love that there are pretty purple flowers around him. Pretty cool. I remember a few years back me and a friend were in Maine for a week and everyday we were hoping to see one but never did.

They are not found in large herds, but as small groups , usually 2. Finding them is sort of random. When I lived in Spokane Wa, they sometimes were seen in the neighborhood eating someone's tree.
