Burrowing Owls

Our town had a boom of Burrowing Owls this year, there are nests everywhere. I wish I would have gone out earlier when the chicks were younger. I was driving by and saw some young ones sitting out .

They are easy to find they nest in the grassy medians of the roads and in empty lots.
