So wasn't exactly sure where to put this one. Not really a landscape, not really wildlife/nature. Oh well, here it goes.

Lots of cairns around the vortexes in Sedona! I think they are fun but I wouldn't have the patience to build one myself. Much easier to let someone else do the hard work and then you just snap the pic.:D

C&C welcome!

Interesting call in deciding this was wildlife :)

I still remember Sedona as a cafe and gas station you went past while heading from Phoenix to Oak Creek Canyon to cool off at slick rock in the summer. The vortex awareness thing happened long after I left AZ for college and has always been a source of amusement for me.

This image is a delightful reminder of the human trait for being gullible. The fish eye effect seems appropriate here.

Ha ha... yeah... that's some crazy Wildlife... though I just saw Frozen again last night, so those rocks could actually be miniature trolls... :)

I am not sure really what the best forum for this would be either. But I do know this is a really cool shot! Very creative in terms of composition and DOF.

Must be "Wildlife", Jeff, as they are not "/Nature" as they are left behind by man. There are a few at Dead Horse Point which I think mark out a trail through the rocks, but I remember shooting a great view of beaches, mountains,seas............and 20,000 wretched cairns piled on the rocks for no reason but to exclaim "I woz 'ere"! :p :D

I do love the wide-angle distortion on this which gives the stones a nice artistic take!
