When this popped up on the screen in adobe lightroom it took me off guard. My first thought was, "gather up the women and children".
I had difficulty trying to shoot this sculpture and finally decided to shift to Defcon One and go to abstract thinking.
This sculpture is Flamingo, created by noted American artist Alexander Calder. It is a 53-foot tall sculpture located in the Federal Plaza in front of the Kluczynski Federal Building in Chicago. You can read more about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flamingo_(sculpture) .
