David I like the colours and contrast of the individual lanterns but their placement within the image doesn't inspire me. Ken

Interesting lanterns Dave. Thinking about Kens comment and trying to decide what kind of a crop could improve this. I can’t come up with any ideas.

I know you went dark with the background, which I would expect shooting these at night, but I wonder if a hint of detail would make a difference?
