The fun part of this for me is this is my local garage, literally just down the street. Lynn is a great mechanic and the local guru for car rebuilding. This is a typical day when we brought in our car for an oil change.

That's a lot of chrome in the engine bay of that second image. I like admiring cars like these but would not want the task of keeping one of these in the condition we are seeing here.

no kidding--but this is an every day thing in this garage. It makes photography look cheap just like owning a boat :)

Yeah - for the garage this is all business so fun to work on such specimens and you get paid for it.

Owning a boat makes a lot of hobbies look cheap until you hit the level of private airplanes.

Jim-just read your posting rules and the two pictures above are not eligible for the contest--and neither are the next two but I am on a roll

I had forgotten about these and found them before I bothered to read the rules. Hopefully they are still enjoyable

What a contrast between the first pair and the second. Love the way the old cars were built - although I wouldn't want to drive them. Like the modern ones better.

Really cool additional cars Tim! And the last 2 are in quite the contrast to the first 2.

I love that paint job in #3! :)

There is virtually no maintenance cost in Arizona for classic cars. There is simply no humidity to cause corrosion! LOL Please help me identify this vehicle. My best guess is about a '62 Pontiac Tempest Wagon... but I'm shooting from the hip.

I believe it's a 1959 Bonneville Safari Station Wagon.
