Clearing Storm at Stoneman Meadow

I spent a week in and around Yosemite Valley with 20 students. A warm storm gave a pretty thorough soaking with the snow level rarely dipping below 8,000 feet. I managed to sneak away at sunset for the storm clearing. I wasn't able to make it very far, so Stoneman Meadow had to do. Not long after this the mist began to rise again and obscured the granite. C&C welcome and appreciated!

I like the foreground tree you used here to offset the bright backdrop. The symmetry of the bare branches adds some interest to the left side of the image and draws my eyes to the cliffs peeking through the clouds on the right.

Hey Tim, I love this. Just perfect timing to get the top of Half Dome to poke through. Really well done!
