Coquille Reflections

Another image from last Friday's sunset at Coquille Beach in Bandon, Oregon. Low tides offer up some nice sunset opportunities although you definitely need to be wary of sneaker waves. I had to run (literally) a couple of times to get out of the way and one of them chased me about 100 yards inland before it stopped. That wave left the wet area that became the reflection for this image.

C&C always welcome.

Hi Alan,

The soft light is very well captured, and the processing and the light quality go hand in hand. I think the lightness on the left draws the eye out of the frame though. The darkness on the right keeps me in and the central swoop of clouds between the rocks holds interest really well. I think a crop to the left of the leftmost rock would really make this sing.

Really nice. I'd maybe like to see the reflection brought out a little bit more. Plus, you've got a little black blob in the lower right portion of the sky. A bird I'd guess (seeing as there are a few to the left)...but you may want to consider cloning it out to clean things up a bit.

Thanks for the comments and suggestions. I would like to wait to try some of these edit suggestions until I get home. I am out on the road right now processing these on my laptop. I did calibrate the screen before I left home but it's still a much smaller screen for detailed edits.
