Curious Bull

Hiking the desert, had a curious cow come to see what I was doing. Took a few pictures of my new friend when I noticed some "additions" that this was no cow but a young bull.

Interesting rendering of the scene. The fence in the scene is not the usual barrier for keeping cattle contained - looks more like something to keep people out.

Good one, I am not sure I would like to be in the same enclosed area with a bull.

You're right Alan, that fence is the border to the Galisteo Dam. The young bull likely belongs to Cochiti Pueblo, just a mile or two down. He shouldn't have been there but must have made an escape.

Thanks Ben. He was young (still a lot more mass then me) and not at all aggressive but I don't know bout in another year or two?

Very nice rendering. This looks like an illustration - the arrangement of plants makes for a nice composition. What are the hash marks in the sky along the top edge?

Thanks Amy! I used a brush in an attempt to make an artistic border. I didn't crop the image but something seems to have gone awry as I applied the brush to all the sides, including the bottom but I don't see it now on the bottom section? Anyway, it was done with a brush in Photoshop.
