Curves

This is from Tuesday, just outside the Wind River Range as the Green River fresh from hanging out in the Green River Lakes starts to meander itself towards the south. In some spots it really snakes around in great horseshoe curves. This is one section.

Taken with the DJI Mini 2 drone. I had a blast flying it again as it had been a while. I actually only took make a dozen photos with it, as I was taking video with it for the most part. I have enough footage to create another Relax with Nature video as the the Mini 2 glides along the River.

All comments are welcome,

Jim

Nice meanders. Are some of those trees changing colors already?

We have a lot of trees in the Portland/Vancouver area that are changing right now due to the extended dry period we have been experiencing. The leaves are mostly just turning dead and falling off rather than displaying nice fall colors.

Thanks so much Alan.

Yeah, some of the shrubs along the river were already turning a golden color. Not sure what they are, but they are definitely turning. None of the aspen higher up as I was hiking has even a hint of color, they are all fully green. Maybe @monika can speak to how the fall colors go there?
