Death Valley Canyon Again

After hiking out of the oasis a Sierra Wave started making its way over the mountains. The prince's plume was surrounded by pollinators earlier, but they went to ground at sunset. All comments welcome!

I wonder how a square crop would look like? Cutting off the bottom? Or even a 4:5 crop? I think that open area in the lower right kind of mires the eye.

Interesting take! I think if the cloud was the subject that would work really well, but I view it as an accent (quite literally it looks like a tilde). I consider the prince's plume blooms to be the subject (especially the lower left). The lead in works to bring my eye from the bottom to the top, and largely ignores the dead space in the lower right. But I guess that might just be me.
