Deer Creek Winter View + drone view

I got this yesterday on a long slog breaking trail up the Deer Creek road off The Mountain Loop Hwy in WA.

I just processed this drone pano looking back down the valley that I'd skied up. The picture above was taken back down just around the corner. I was hoping for more sun breaks and a good view of Three Fingers, but it was socked in.

That's some really deep snow - doesn't look easy to transit at all. Interesting contours to the snow surface in this scene.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Now that I look at that pano I'm getting ideas to go back in the summer and try traversing that ridge to tag some of those little peaks that pretty much never get climbed.
