Double the Sun

Great Fountain Geyser is my favorite geyser in Yellowstone, but it's a hard one to capture as it has like a 12 hour cycle +- 4 hours, so its' eruption can vary a lot. I have spent days at this geyser just to capture it's semi erratic eruptions. But it's a beautiful place and well worth the time.

In this one I decided to reflect the sun in the image also which while it doubled the sun, it also doubled the flaring. So included is the image and also the image I used for blocking the flares.

Classy finger shot :D

+- 4 hours? Ouch. That's serious patience.

All that aside the result is a pretty amazing image. Wow.

Ha ha, thanks Mike! I have stuck a finger to cover the sun a million times, but when I was setting this up, it was like with the 2 suns, now what? And it was well, let me try two fingers... and it worked... :)
