Drone View of Neighborhood Fireworks

I flew my drone above my house (afraid to venture anywhere else in this crazy neighborhood). I didn't get any single great shot, but did manage to put this together.

We are one of the few local cities to still allow fireworks. It seems like it is a battle of street vs. street trying to outdo each other. Fun to watch, but stinky, and we always worry about fires, so would just as soon it be banned.

This is a compilation of shots easily blended with lighten mode.

Nice - I was thinking about how handy a drone would be for shooting the neighborhood shows last night.

I have tried shooting from the ground but way too much light pollution from street lights and views are blocked by rooftops and trees.

Very cool Jim!

Having seen the area you live in thanks to your Drone, I think they would be better off to ban them before there is a fire some year.

But in the mean time, I like how you used the drone and how they all came together.

Hopefully we get more people posting their fireworks photos, I know I have a bunch I am working on that I shot with the Queen Mary.
