Early at Alabama Hills

From my trip in Dec '17, I found one I hadn't worked or shared.
In the Alabama Hills, near Lone Pine, CA, almost a full 1/2 hour before the sun's first light got to Mt Whitney. Illumination compliments of the brightening sky in the east, behind me.
No clouds, alas, but my favorite light of any day.
(Canon 5D mark IV, Sigma Art 24-105 lens (at 46mm) 13 sec, f/8, iso 100.)

Photos like these don't need clouds Barry. I think they actually take away from enjoying that soft light on the mountain peaks.
