I am an infrequent portrait maker, but I did a good spell of it while in Cuba. I will be presenting other Cubans here over time. This is a person I met who has seen a lot go down there. The revolution is still celebrated. People there are happy.

Jim, I can't believe I made this image myself! When I arrived in Cuba, I was shy about approaching people and I had little experience in portraiture. I fought off my demons and immersed myself for two days with some assistance and emerged a portrait artist! Then I got into it seriously for the next 10 days and actually made quite a few decent people pix. Did you watch the short movie I created from my photography in Cuba?
