Last weekend on my birthday run up to Pismo Beach for world famous Clam Chowder I ended up going up to test out the new Tamron 150-600mm G2 at the Elephant Seal gathering at Piedras Blancas just north of San Simeon which is at the bottom end of Big Sur in California.
The light was getting low as it was close to sunset, which gave some nice golden casts. It was fun shooting the seals as there were lot's of patterns with the seals but also some action going on too with them.
Both of these are shot at 600mm
