Just wanted to share an image from this cool White Birch grove area. I didn't actually get a vacation this year which is quite a bummer, but my wife started her PhD program at Penn Sate and we bought a house right in the area. Turns out there's some really nice state forests pretty close by which is wonderful. I still live in Maryland due to work but I managed a few days off to go up there and explore (but mostly was put to work on the house)

The trunks look nice. Interesting to see what they look like in their natural setting - lots of them in my area but only in people's yards which isn't very photogenic.

Really nice, especially if in your neighborhood. Birch are nearly like Aspen in appearance.

Love it Jordan! That sounds like a lot of running back and forth for you, but those trips can be fun and give you lots to explore if you drive.

The birch trees look great, and I like the color of the ferns in the underbrush.
