Great job of rapid composition, Zeph. I hate it when I get tricked and have to go crazy trying to find a good composition when the light turns fantastic.
Great job thinking fast here! I know when the color hits like this it sometimes can overwhelm our brains. I like the foreground brush and think it anchors this shot very nicely.

I'll dig around for a "landscape" version, but your right, most of the action is in the distant hills. I often compose too "place" the viewer in the shot by including some kind of foreground interest, as opposed to appearing to look out a "window". What else can you do with wide angle lens, Zeiss 21mm.
There is an issue with Uploading Photos (attachjments). I am not sure what the problem is, and I am looking into it. You can still try to Create your Threads and Upload your Photos, but it is hanging up during the Upload.
