Evening at the Beach

You still managed to get the rare sunset color on this stretch of coastline, and a great reflection in the water. This is a very different mood for Bandon.

Nicely balanced comp Alan, what lens is this?
It might have been nice to have a bit clearer path through the stacks, you know, move over to the right a bit...:)

Lens was a Canon EF24-70mm f/2.8L.

I was down in Bandon shooting with Tim O'Neil and Ray Still out on the open beach to the right of these rocks and we felt like the colors had colors left. While we were heading back to the car suddenly these colors appeared so we just stopped to shoot where we were. This spot gave me the most colors but crimped the view.

Very nice Alan, I also really the detail in the rocks, just enough to add interest. That color is really sweet too. I will profess though that for as nice as this is, I had the same thought as Zeph. Not saying it would for sure be better, but I would like to see a shot taken from just a bit more to the right to compare.

Lovely, Alan. I think some of the varied incoming tidal flows in Bandon are fantastic because of the channels between the various stacks. This is particularly good as you have caught the sunset colours in reflections.
