Evening at the Bridge

I think just about every photographer that has visited Zion NP has likely contributed to the tripod holes on the bridge over the Virgin River overlooking the Watchman. This was from a trip I took a number of years ago with some FM folks that included Valley of Fire and Death Valley. The lonely cloud was just that - the only one around and I didn't get to stick around to see if it got any more colorful than this.

C&C always welcome.

one of my favorite images is hanging just above that clock I shot last night. It's the Watchman. Like you I have had to try my hand at it several times. One of my favorites was from a morning shot taken all alone.

This one has nice framing and good light on the Watchman and surrounding rocks. The cloud is better than many bare sky images taken here. Too bad the trees were bare. Fall color is when this spot gets really crowded, but I would like to get a spring shot someday.

This is pretty nice Alan, that lone cloud is cool looking. I guess I am one of the last remaining photographers that hasn't shot from the bridge. I do hope to shoot from there some day, maybe 2018 will be the year?
