This is an image I keep coming back to. This was captured at dusk in Big Bend National Park about 5 years ago overlooking the Rio Grande as it flows into Boquillas Canyon. I am a sucker for morning/evening pastels and the light was splendid this evening. The wind was whipping and some movement is noticed in the reeds/grasses in the foreground though not excessive or distracting. I keep thinking I should go back and re-edit these as my editing skills are more improved but, I am still pleased and wonder, "what would I actually do differently?" Probably not much. So why mess with it? Anyways, I am longing to get back to the desert of far west Texas again and though I have been 4 times totaling a month in desert, I am ready again.
