Auyuittuq National Park is all about ice. Ice is an inseparable element of Arctic’s paysage. It is present there in various forms, regardless of the season. Icebergs are just one of its creations. When we reached the end of the fjord, we were astonished by the quantity and size of these floating ice mountains. Their omnipresence could be anticipated, yet it brought on us a state of incomparable euphoria.
That morning, when I took this photo and the warm light arrived from nowhere, the icebergs that populated Pangnirtung Fjord gave an impression as if they were migrants from elsewhere. As if they didn’t belong to this place, but were parts of some sort of a natural exodus.

Beautiful scene - nice one. Out of curiosity how big are those icebergs? I really don't have a sense of scale for this place at all.
Thanks! They are pretty big. The biggest one that you can see in this photo was the size of a small house. The cliff on the right is about 600 meters high.
