Hi,
Online I caught a glimpse of the nebula done in OOH style combination. I decided to give it a try.
There are some aspects of it that I like compared to the traditional version.
This one assigns O3 to red, blue channel to green, and red channel to blue to created the OOH image.
The stars were removed from each channel, before recombining and refining the colors.
I was using the Altair quad channel filter. I think that is what contributed to the star shapes and halos.
Of course, not many filters that I can afford do very much better on this set of bright stars. :>)
