Fallen Sycamore leaves along wet Beaver Creek, Wet Beaver Creek Wilderness, AZ

Allen's Waterfall Wednesday prompted me to go out with a friend and shoot a small waterfall he knew about. It is in a remote place and I think he was the only one to know about it until he showed me. It actually has five slots through the sandstone but I concentrated on these for my composition. I think you know him Jim. His name is Guy Schmickle and I am trying to get him to sign up with this forum.

Thanks to Allen for the great thread yesterday. Lots of good images there. Here is the one that missed the deadline.

Hey Doug,

Wow, this is really nice! Love the fallen leaves scattered across this.

And wow, it's been ages since I have seen Guy. I sure hope you can talk him into joining, let him know I would love it if he could join us here in our little community. He would be a great asset here!

Very nice - I got hooked on seeing the fallen leaves around falls from all the shots I saw of the Watkins Glen area and have been seeking out scenes like that ever since.

Save some for next week - we do waterfall Wednesday's every week :)

I'm working on him. We have been friends for a long time. He is selling his images at fairs and doing quite well so his time is cramped sometimes but I think he is leaning to join.

Thanks for your kind comment, Alan. Having a specific posting subject matter is a great idea. I think I have a few left in the stash. I enjoy your images and look forward to seeing more.

Hi Doug,

This looks like a sister waterfall to Fern Spring in Yosemite. Your chosen shutter speed works really well to contrast with the dark rocks. My only tiny nit would be that the dark rock in the lower left corner ever so slightly interrupts the flow of the water.
