A capture of Fall doing what it does before the leaf blowers arrive to gather up the evidence. This along a pathway in the Strolling Garden in the Portland Japanese Garden from fall of 2008.

Many thanks - the best part about this garden is that mother nature and the gardeners do all the work and I just wandered around with my camera shooting the views

Thanks Jim - I do note that my archive stash of captures from this garden are heavily biased towards fall scenes. When I visited the garden as a member during the fall in 2008 I was struck by how picturesque the place was compared to our PNW forest fall leaves and spent most of my fall weekends there instead of wandering in the woods.

That remained true for 5 years until one day in 2013 I found myself standing around leaning on my tripod wondering what else I could shoot that would be different and came up empty handed. It's a beautiful place but I did finally have to ask how many more fall images of some of the scenes I have presented I really needed. As an example I have dozens of images of Heavenly Falls with fall leaves (not taken on the same day) I have never processed because of the repetition.
