This is from a couple of years ago in La Sal mountains in the Moab area.

Not an uncommon structure for a lot of southern Utah landscapes. I like the bright yellows of the aspen.

There is a spot in the upper center of the image that looks washed out but the sun angle isn't right for a flare.

Love the layers of color. I see the same spot, upper center that Alan Lichty mentions as well. Prolly an easy fix

Yes, couldn't figure out what caused it though. Will look into the fix.

I have never considered the Moab area for fall color, but I need to keep it in mind.
