Fire behind the Sun

Yesterday we hit record breaking heat along with the heat came a new wildfire by Grand Lake just on the other side of Rocky Mountain National Park. When I got home from work I thought it might be a good day to capture the sunset.... CC welcome!

This is a really great sunset Alisa! Man, those clouds look like they are alive the way they are dancing in the scene.

Good job on the framing, and it looks like you worked hard to eliminate the buildings, there isn't too much showing.

Seriously tasty sunset.

I don't like what wildfire smoke does to everything else but it sure can make for some incredible sunsets. I hate the orange haze in the daytime.

Reminds me of the "bad robot" ad, love the light, since this image is all about that great light, and has no real FG interest, i would be tempted to silhouette the trees, loosing that building and lighting up a bit the grass tops...

Thank you for the advice. The Building is actually a bridge, but I will see what I can come up with. :)
