Yay - the used 5dmkii is back and took it out for a spin. It was 590m converted via lifepixel. Found it a little old school to use vs my Canon 6dMk2 and i know I can improve on focus etc. I actually found the liveview alittle hard to use in bright conditions. Anyway I'm sure the post processing could be improved but delighted to finally have a go at this!

This looks really cool Graeme! Congrats on getting the camera back.

What a cool looking tower. Is it an ancient tower? Or one used for coal refining? No matter, it's so cool with those outside stairs going up it like that.

I like both of these a lot! You did awesome with the foliage turning yellow! I like your look here!

Nice way to start out with your new/old camera.

An item that might help for trying to do fine focus with the 5D2 is a Hoodman Loupe. I bought one of these years ago when my 5D2 was a new camera and I was having the same problem in bright sunlight.

I've never heard of a hoodloupe Alan. That's intriguing alright thankyou

That is a much better beginning of your IR journey than mine was. I got one of those loupes as well and is useful with live view in bright conditions.
