I was very focused on the western view during my sunrise session at Flaming Gorge but at some point I realized I had to look the 'other way' from my previous compositions and so I scurried over to another viewpoint and got set up quick enough to capture this view. The sun was really just peeking through this opening which proceeded to close up over the next few minutes. This was my favorite of the images I took in that direction, bracketed and processed to mitigate the extreme dynamic range while hopefully still keeping a natural look akin to what my eyes were getting out of the scene.
