Posting this mostly as a test of processing and posting from Lightroom mobile and my ipad. At a work conference in Fort Lauderdale (lucky me) versus the snow and cold at home in Minnesota.

Looks quite nice to me. The difficult sunlight in this scene looks well tamed.

I have the mobile apps but have never really used them.

Thanks Alan - I’ve used LR mobile and my ipad in the past. I’m always a little skeptical to post images since 1) my ipad is not calibrated like my home desktop and 2) the tool set for post processing is somewhat more limited. That being said, I can accomplish a lot on the ipad and with practice, I can overcome both issues above if I choose to post here and on other social media. The best part of using LR mobile and the ipad is that images are loaded to LR cloud and end up on my desktop when I get home.

This image is certainly a challenge due to backlighting but I think this turned out well. We’ll also see what more I can do (if necessary) when I return to my desktop and my full compliment of post processing tools!

Both of these came out very nice. I have not figured out how to get Icloud content to my PC.

In my case I never travel anywhere without my laptop so have never had a reason to use either my iPad or my iPhone for LR duties. I shoot ProRAW on my iPhone and import them directly into LR on my laptop via a USB cable.

Your results certainly point out that the mobile option is a quite workable solution when you don't have a laptop.

How does LR Mobile compare to Photoshop Express? I edit on the road on my iphone with Photoshop Express. My iPad is one of those you can get free when you get a new phone, which means sadly it only has 32gb of memory. So it's always full with even just a few apps.

Hey Jim, I haven’t used photoshop on the iPad/iPhone so n’ot sure how it compares. However, the lates version of LIghtroom mobile even includes the new masking tools that recently appeared on the latest version of LIghtroom classic which is awesome. My ipad has 1Tb of storage so it can hold a lot of Raw images. However, with LIghtroom mobile, images can be stored in the cloud.
