Trying my hand at some aerochrome processing with this Forrest scene.

You have been successful at turning the vegetation to red. (Do I get my Captain Obvious award now?)
Not something I have tried my hand at yet. I do find myself wishing that there were more distinctions between the types of vegetation with this type of conversion but I haven't seen much with the other rendering techniques either.
Its a nice shade of red.
Thanks Alan, Ben and Amy.I'm no expert, but you did a great job here Jameel. In the original aerochrome film all live vegetation came out a very vibrant red, unfortunately that same look is very hard to reproduce with digital. They do sell film at B&H that is "todays" chrome film (600nm), I would be interested to see how close it comes to the original. The differences in tones looks really good in this image.
Thanks Jim. I think a combination of foliage which goes red and other elements which don't is probably more suited to this look.Very nice Jameel. Converting to an Aerochrome look can be a lot of work, but worth it I think.
