Thanks, Alan. North facing windows reflecting blue skies. It's something I learned a few years back and try to use near buildings. It has a lower luminosity than the sky so you make it blend in better plus the saturation is fairly high. The trick, other than focus and exposure, is to get the foreground, mid, and background all lined up. That's what will drive you nuts!

Also, I've used blue skies reflecting off of a stream or water source to provide a blue backdrop. If you go to my image "Goodnight Moon" from a week ago or so in wildlife/nature I actually used a white car in the distance that was park in the shade. I knew it would have some blue due to the shade and blue skies. When I looked through the lens with the proper exposure the blue as very saturated and reminded me of moonlight, hence, the title.

Practice makes perfect - you have developed a good eye for this type of scene with a sense of what might work out.
