I see fall colors - this qualifies :) I like this scene with the cottonwoods starting to change. Not sure I have ever been to Zion with full fall colors before. I like the stormy mood to this one.

Thanks. Let me walk back the October comment a tad. That should have been mid-October. I am told that fall colors come to Zion in late October and early November. In my patch of Texas, the trees turn color one day, and the leaves are on the ground the next.

As expected lots of great shots in this thread. Sure shows our western membership though - I was hoping to see more from back east since I'm planning a trip out there this year just to shoot the fall colors.

Western WA isn't known for good fall color, but if you know where to go, we do get some.

I had to pee so I went off of the pathway to find a suitable place where I couldn’t be seen. As I was going through the forest I saw this puddle. The water had frozen over night and captured these leaves in a very artistic pattern. The raindrops on the leaves had frozen too but had melted by the time I got there. So now you know why I was looking down. I was negotiating my way through the forest.
